The Rialto Red Brick Players presented the musical melodrama:

“Showdown at the Rainbow Ranch”.

This is a musical melodrama that featured great songs, a really bad villain, a sigh-worthy heroine, and a brave hero.

The show opened Friday September 12, and the final performance was a Sunday Matinee on September 21

Synopsis:

You’ll find intrigue when a series of mysterious disappearances ends in murder—and romance—when wild west show hero Matthew Merriweather meets Rainbow Heatherton, brave and beautiful heir to the Rainbow Ranch. You’ll find excitement when banker Culver C. Cleaver aims to raise some dust and a cheer-filled finale when Basil Blackthorne hits the dirt. Your audience will tap its toes to tunes such as the upbeat “We’re Gonna Make a New Beginning” and “I’m So Good at Being Bad!” and thrill to the haunting “She Is My Rainbow, She Is My Dream” as sung in countermelody to “It Was a Quiet Place There in His Arms.” Randall and Bushnell have done it again. Here is a piece of pure entertainment with something for everyone!
