“Our Town”

Co-Directed by Jennifer Bowers and Bethany LaLoge
Produced by: Fremont Civic Theatre

This classic play was performed at the Rialto Theater on July 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, and 18, 2021. Our wonderful cast and crew put in many long hours and lots of hard work to bring this fantastic play to life. We want to thank all the cast, crew, donors, and the community for making this happen.

Our Town takes place between 1901 and 1913 in a small town, Grover’s Corners, in New Hampshire. There are 3 Acts: Daily Life, Love and Marriage, Death and Eternity. This story, although written in 1938, has been an enduring testament to how we live our lives, and what we take for granted. With this past year and the ups and downs of living through a pandemic, we have all experienced bits of life that can bring sorrow, but also joy. This show beautifully showcases all of these emotions and is relatable to everyone, even today in 2021.

“Our Town” was presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc. www.concordtheatricals.com
