The Front Range Big Band will be performing at the Rialto on April 30, 2022. Our theme will be “Spring Fling” and we are encouraging everyone to dress in period clothing from the 20s, 30s, 40s, or 50s. Wear a Flapper dress, a Poodle Skirt, a tux and tails, top hat, or whatever outfit fits with those years. We will have a prize for the best costume. (costumes and period-specific clothes are not required, you can always come as you are!)
The show starts at the Rialto Theater in Florence on April 30, 2022 at 7pm. Doors open at 6:30pm. We will have an area set aside for dancing.
THE NEW CENTURY BIG BAND was formed in October, 2002 as a “band for the community.” The group performs regularly for special community events, park concerts, private parties and hosts the monthly BIG BAND SUNDAY at the Colorado Springs Senior Center.
Tickets will be $15 for Adults and $12 for Students/Seniors/Military and may be purchased at Big D’s in Florence, City Market in Canon City, online (below), and at the box office on the day of the event. Online tickets will include a $1 transaction fee per ticket.
